(Pardon my poor computer terminology)
If the audio files are on your PC, open My Computer.
Navigate to the folder they are in.
In the 'View' option, select 'Details'.
Right click on the header area (the one which lists 'Name', 'size', 'type' etc and select 'Bit rate' from the menu.
The bit rate will then be listed in one of the columns.

Approx whatever bitrate you re-encode to will proportionately resize the file. So 160>48 kbps will reduce size by just over 1/3. Depends what encoding you're going to use though and some are much better at low bitrates than others.....

in average, what the minimum size i can get as result for 2 gb music?
Boba, 2GB of MP3 music means 400+ tracks. So if u want a decent audio quality, anything less than 1GB of total re-encoded tracks, is not gud...

A simple explanation - bit rate has something to do with the number of bits of information. The higher the bit rate, the higher the quality and vice versa.
Try lowering the bitrate gradually to find a balance between small file size and acceptable audio quality. With Audacity, one could go as low as 16 kbps with completely unacceptable audio quality. I prefer 128 kbps, though 112 kbps is not too bad, as long as the music is not played on high fidelity speakers!

Here's an interesting comparison of popular audio formats with quite a few downloadable examples at various bit rates.
AAC vs MP3 vs Ogg
