Aww, that phone is so cute. Its sure to be a hit.

The sense of beauty is different in different people. In my opinion this phone shows again that almost all SE mobile phones have an ugly design.
It's sad.

I know someone who has one of these already and he has confirmed that there is a good positive reaction from most people that come into contact with it.

From what I have seen so far - it appeals to me.

But hey - of course everyone is entitled to their opinion.

the same fone again with the same features we had already in the last 2 years. is that all what se can offer? a new design? i do miss innovation. i do know that fones are turning to mutimeadi devices, but that design is really disgusting, my neohew could draw a nicer one...

@bobafett

A new design in a nice slim package. It does take some know-how to engineer slim phones and fit a decent set of specs into a small casing like that. I would say it is an acheivement.

i get your point, but why should i pay for sg what i had already before a year, just to have the same features in a futuristic pocket calculator design?

Well thats purely your decision - no one is forcing you to buy it.

Others will see this as any attractive device with a higher-spec than any previous - slim phone.

Remember - it wasn't so long ago that the smallest 3G phone we had was the K600i. The W880i now makes that phone look positively bloated.

thats right. but ppl usually moan that nokia is releasing "almost" the same headset again and again, with less or more changes... so se entered the same path too?

I really can't see any phone that is at all like the W880i - ts the first of its kind for

The spec sheet is undoubtedly similar to what's currently on offer but I think is banking on the 'looks' of this phone to be its main selling point - which again is a matter of personal taste.
