No manual graphic equalizer? I thought it had one. Now I'm really really beginning to dislike this phone even further! On top of not being able to record a call and having to have the phone switched on for the alarm to go off they omit the equalizer! That's absolutely intelligent of the damned engineers!!
If you buy LCGJukebox player than you have a manual equalizer and the best sound quality you can find on a mobilephone today=p. For me all the presettings of the equalizer on p990 sucks except normal and megabass. But i have a problem with megabass... for almost all my songs that i downloaded from the internet the sound sucks BIG BIG time if i put the volume more than 3/4. (A thing that not happen with my w810) And less than 3/4 for some tracks is not enough if your in noisy places. But with original cds riped with disc2phone then megabass works fine even at full volume (unfortunally almost all my music collection is from emule etc.. and not original cds!! LoLoL)

Video is a LOT better thatn on k800. Video play is GREAT! Convert the movie to it's standard with M3 and you will really enjoy the watching!

The video player is not great... is excellent with the latest firmware version!

Bye the way all the phone features have improved alot with these new firmwares. 1or 2 more firmwares and i think will be perfect. For me the only issues right now are: Long boot up (1minute if not more) ,Sometimes memory problems when using opera with 1or2 more aplications at the same time, no animated wallpapers, no costumable shortcuts with flip open like on w950/m600, no manual equalizer on the built in media player and thats it. I think p990 worth the money you pay for it right now so if you got a good deal go for it.

My P990 crahed yesterday twice in radio playback with the latest firmware (taht is R9EC001 or something).
Otherwise it is quite ok.
