You can get a Hewlett Packard for under £400 from
www.technoworld.com.
I have one and it's very good. Comes with 512memory dvd rw can't rememebr the rest but I would recommend a HP over an Acer although Dells are good too.

What about Sony? not bad prices are all for Sony ones on places like dabs etc.
The cheapest are going to be ones such as Acer.

yeh well its reconditioned ..which is practically as good as new.
Have had a look at acers and compaqs and nothing fits my budget.
