ok, things are getting weirder and weirder here. I managed to make the phone connect to the update service...and it shows me Generic world firmware..nothing mentioned about orange. I`m updating it right now...i hope it will work good.

I have just completed these instructions and now have a generic branded p990i.

This is using the kulakendi software.
