yes, i did it with SEUS...it said i already had the latest FW, but i clicked "continue anyway"...and it updated my phone again

i tried right now on the main screen.
i kept the selection on Main menu.
pressed more
than in more>edit>shortcut icon>
now just press your scroll on shortcut icon. and select browse and select ur picture which u like to replace the icon of shortcut menu.
hope it helps.
i dont have any trouble here.

Hehe, he's right. Sorry but the problem is that we have tried that 20 or 30 times now and that's EXACTLY the problem. When we try to replace the icons that way it DOES NOT work. We obviously know how to do it but for us it's not working and that is why we are here trying to get help!

I still have not gotten this to work at all. I don't believe it has to do with icon names, actually i'm not really sure what you're referring to but i have tried to use different icons not just one. I have tried using multiple icon files.
I have still had no luck with this and I cannot figure out what to do. I have tried to reinstall my firmware over and over again and i still have no luck.
One other thing I did notice and I would like you to try DSalinas. I tried setting up my Gmail account EXACTLY as posted on this site and I cannot get receive email. When i go to "Send & Receive" it says it connects fine but i still get nothing. I know i can SEND an email from my phone but I cannot RECEIVE it.
There is one other thing I noticed but I forgot what it was. I will post it as soon as I come across it again. Thanks!
