I've shared my cable internet connection using a Wi-Fi PCI card on the PC (no router) and on Windows Vista at least I could not share the correct ports for streaming RealPlayer video.
So for me, streaming is still a no go.

@LAU
Did you try going back to bridging the connections? Maybe that would work better?

well, I managed to watch videos from YouTube (http://m.youtube.com) on my P990i through an Asus WL520g router by going to NAT Setting/ Virtual DMZ and adding the phone's ip there. But the movies really suck.

@pnf1973
I don't understand how the bridge works
All I know is that once I bridge the two cards, I loose all connections on the PC. I don't want that.
What I did was to share the network card internet connection for the wifi card to use.

Ach. What is it with windows? You think something is simple and logical and then it turns out the MS have a completely different idea!
I bet what it does it try to bridge the wrong way - from the WLAN to the network, god knows how you control this though, it just appears as a network connection, doesn't it?
Have you tried this?

Looks promising, and might explain your issue.

Thanks for the link. I'll take a look at that when I get back home.
