Im wonding if I should change the cda with the Kulankendi service that is shown on here and then try to upate the firmware .. its only 7 euros.
Wonder if it will kill the phone tho.
If it works but I cant change the firmware then I have a Voda branded unlocked M600i that I could also do and then use that once cda is changed.

Or I could just use my SPV M600

hmmm

I have a dedicated GPS Mio P 350 and I have to say it runs only 2 hours on battery which is not enough unless you have a car charger. My ideea is even with a dedicated GPS gadget the battery is not that great...
I think there is nothing really wrong with your phone, the M600i doesn't have a great battery time anyway.

DocTorpor's runs for several hours, my SPV M600 runs it for about the same, my Mini S ran it for over 2 hours and even my N80 runs it for nearly as long.
The M600i runs it for 10 mins MAX .. personally I think there is a problem.

Well it looks like its the actual programme that is draining the battery as it still does it when not connected to the reciever and bluetooth switched off.

TomTom will run on my fully charged W950 for at least two full hours with constant backlight (probably even more but I've only ever tried it for about that length of time). Thus, I doubt that the probem is with the TomTom application. It sounds more to me like there's a problem with your phone somewhere.

Well nothing else I have on the phone drains the battery like that. I know its not the programme as such because I have it running on a P990i at this moment and the battery drain is fine. Its a combination of the programme and my particular phone.

I must admit though this P990i is quite nice .... very quiet though?

Mike.P, make sure your 'multimedia' volume is turned all the way up. The the directions should be much better audible.
But watch out for hearing damage when you switch back to listening to music with headphones after using TomTom (in case you do)

Hi!

I own a copy of Tomo Tom Navigator 5 Series and use it with my old and failing Tungsten T3.

Is there anyway, I can get for free or cheap, the software to run on my W950i and use the exisiting maps, camera information etc?

Or do I have to buy the Tom Tom 6 for mobile product with no savings?
