As I have said on many occasions we are here to help, we aren't here to bleed the members for some cash. We have had many emails and PM's from embers asking all sorts of questions and we do our best to help every single one of them, whether it may help us or not it doesn't matter.

We are trying to do right by the forum and be as impartial as possible. Coxy gets a great writeup so people near him GO FOR IT!!!

This isn't what we do to pay the rent, this is a service designed to help people and to provide a service that we thought was lacking.

Now that there is an online service for CDA change that's great news, as long as it proves reliable and that people use it properly we are all for it.

There will always be people who wwould rather a professional looked at it and did all of this for them, hence we will always have customers, but for those of you brave enough to try stuff at home, then thats great. However we also do repairs for those of you who screw up lol.

Good Luck to everyone who uses the online services we wish you all the best. So far I am happy to report that KK's service seems to work OK.

It has now been tested by us on W950i, P990i, and M600i to work fine for changing CDA.

I WOULD NOT FLASH MY PHONE on the ONLINE SERVICE, it's just too unreliable, just change the CDA and update via SEUS, as per Spectre's outline.

Just a quickie to let you lot know that i just changed the CDA of my Tmobile UK crippled M600 to:
CDA162011/1

not bad for 5 euros!!!

wooho SEUS here i come!

was a bit worried about doing it, but not being able to change the hardware button and to know that there are quite a few bugs that i am forced to live with made me do it!

oh yeah and i got a white case replacement off fleabay and a white keypad coming from cnn.cn nice and cheap, finally think i might be keeping this phone for a while now!

http://cnn.cn/shop/sonyericss[....]907a55123f0b2c7188d95a4249ec72

Thanks to those of you who were brave enough to try it first, and if you're not prepared for the possibility of a rather nice paper weight i would use the other postage based solutions available from this forum.

Cheers

Ed
