I know that doc.
actually, if you read it, you can see that the "frame" in the softkeys bar can be transparent, but the m600i need also the "horizontal background" in the softkeys bar, wich CANNOT be transparent !
the p990i doesn't need that one.
so, transparency is illusion in a m600i theme. and we don't care, after all.
I don't have a p990i, and maybe you're right for that device !
