Guys, dont get ya expectations up so high. I think the James Bond version has a different earphone to support the polyphonic tones. Otherwise i think it is the same. So even IF you get the sw, u still have to change the earpiece !! This post was posted from a R520

U see, the monophonic tones are played thru a buzzer, but the poly is played a SPEAKER... Think of it as an advanced buzzer... This post was posted from a R520

i just talked to my people in switzerland. they said they are not aware of james bond's edition t68i but a james bond package instead.

[weird! because it says bond t68i !!!]

it includes:
-t68i
[mineral gray]
-hbh-30
-torch light
-playable demo of 'night fire' from EA games
-limited edition post cards

all for:

CHF299, 1yr contract swisscom from >>>mobile store.

CHF398,1yr contract from >>>swisscom direct.

$1 = 1.568CHF

Yes, of course it will be a limited promo edition. That does not mean it is going to be considerably more expensive, remember it is going to be a promotion product. Ericsson released the T29 MTV Music Award Limited Edition a couple of years ago. It came with a radio and a few other goodies and was actually cheaper than the standard T29. From what I read, that new Phone will have the Polyphonic Ringtones option Available.

Exactly were did you read this????
Please post the link. The only difference from the normal T68i and the "JB007" edition is the package. And the JB phone comes with pics, ringtones and screensavers from the film..simply as that. Just a PR gig....

And how the phone in the movie will act...that's another thing.
Get you facts straight.

I don't think there will be poly ringtone in the James Bond T68i edition........they just add a few accessories like the flashlight in the package !!!!!

Right. There hasnt been any mention of polyphonic ringtones in the new james bond t68. The only differences are that its mineral grey like in the film and has some ringtones and pics bundled with some accessories. Why would se bother adding new functions to a year old phone?
