it is VERY hard to blow a sub if your using it way within the power range like you are, maybe a dodgy connector?

Have you checked all the wires are all still connected to the sub properly, that all the connections arent broken and any wiring that is inside the sub box hasnt come loose or been damaged.
Also, you say you sub is 1200w, is that RMS? if not what is the RMS figure for it? and what level have you got the gains set to?

My money is on a connection having become loose either on or in the sub enclosure.
When did it stop working? Was it while you were driving and using it or did it just not work one day when you came to use it?
