About the release date, 500 units of P800 is shipping to Malaysia, told by the manager in SE malaysia. However all are reserved units, cost around RM3k which is US$790 +/- He claimed that P800 will be available in Malaysia Market at January.

I dont get it! How can SE really delay its most anticipated P800 so much?! I hate this. This is going very over the limit, one more thing, does any of you know wheather the P800 can read standard MMC's? I posted the same question in a different forum but I got only one reply!!

What is the point of a zoom (optical or digital) when the resolution is so low that any sort of zooming merely pixelates the image

Hmm I dont think so about hte MMS card
I have a close relative that is a beta tester and last time i saw it, it had a speciel card from sony or something

Damn it, I sent SE Middle East an E-mail seeking information about the P800, they replied saying that it will be released in Q4 2002. DAMN DOES ANY OF YOU KNOW ANY RELIABLE SOURCE FROM SE TO TELL ME WHEN IS THE F***ING RELEASE DATE COZ AM DYING!!

PLS IF ANYBODY KNOWS TELL ME, coz................I will buying two P800's, one for me and one for my girlfreind. AND I PROMISED HER. PLS SE, DONT BREAK MY HEART!!

Dont worry man, my relationship with her is rock solid. Also no probs, U.S 800 is not much compared to her sole beauty!! I LOVE 2 things most in the world, MY GF AND THE P800!!! But still I need to know when is the release date coz her birthday is near and I need to buy her a 'serious' birthday gift!

Any body posting here please establish connections with other forums coz they have members from around the globe, we can like this obtian information about the P800 release date...

i posted the UAE info in the same thread earlier. go back and chack on local SE service center phone number and email.

I have called them yesterday, no news yet. She said the end of the year but i have some serious doubts cause it has been delayed in some european countries till Feb and u know if its not released in europe till then. it wont be released here.
Also, I would rather get a fully healthy P800 instead of a full trouble gadget. I dont want any technical problems with it..
