SUES is perfectly fine. I've used it many times with many phones over the years with not one problem. User error tends to be the problem.

As said above, its one of the downsides with buying a branded contract phone. i would never buy a branded smart phone.

But if for £4 & a 1 day wait is all it takes to debrand it, then update to latest firmware, whats the big deal with a branded one, particularly as it may have been a good price ???

The phone was free on the contract. Orange alway's released updates for the K750I after Sony had released them. I don't want to debrand at the moment as I like the home screen etc they use and I can't see why Orange won't release the update. It is the latest Orange firmware as said yes.

Hi all,

I really wouldn't count on Orange approving new firmware anytime soon, when i had a P910 was told i wasn't allowed to. When i explained it was part of the phones functionality and in the box their was a leaflet from Orange explaining how to use the update service and they were still 3 firmware behind plus my phone was unusable i ended up having to threaten Legal action to their Legal Department to get 10 months remaining contract with no penalties and a full refund for the P910. That was the straw that broke the Camel's back and vowed never to touch Orange again which i haven't and have no intention of either.
