I'm not disputing that its good software in the least. I just don't think you should have to have it to keep the phone going.
I have read a load of the comments in these forums and there are a lot of people having problems with this phone. There are a few who defend it and i'm sure they are having a good experience, if the blasted thing would stay on for longer than a day i'm sure i'd be enjoying using it, but it doesn't.
I have been meticulous with the flashing of my device ensuring that i use my XP machine rather than Vista, formating the internal disc, resisting installing extra software and it still crashes in its stock form.
We all know there is a memory leak of some description, when the phone starts up it has 15 megs free and this will decline to around 10 megs after a couple of hours. Okay not great but fine, sometimes it hovers around 10megs and on some occasions i have seen it continue its downward slide and crash.
Recently I turned the phone off to free up the memory and the first text message to arrive crashed it, so i can't really appreciate the sentiment that some have of this being a good phone.
Clearly there is a larger that usual contingent of phones that have problems and all i'm asking is that people log their issues, and SE give some meaningful feedback, the silent treatment doesn't float my boat!

No one is saying for you to silence yourself.
Why donīt you open a thread about M600 similar to P990īs at SE devs forum, so that you and all other M600 users can report problems directly to SE, where they canīt say they donīt see it

Ares is right.
And it is you who doubt my or others satisfaction not vice verse. I sincerely understand you and encourage you to do something about it.
At the end you can see the picture I posted above. Now it is 8 days 7 hours of non stop usage and 10 mb ram. I dont see crashes or similar in my case. And believe me it is far from poor usage. I have quite a few apps and use every built in feature except push email. So how can I not be satisfied.

@Koto
Your comment about not using push mail hits the nail on the head for me. If I don't use push mail, the phone seems to be just fine. Using the mail feature I have almost daily restarts, and many during phone calls. The problem being that for many of us email is a primary function.
One thing can be said for SE, they sure created a polarized crowd with the latest round of UIQ phones...

Yes, I know that push email eats a lot of memory which than can cause a lot of problems. Fortunately I dont need it as pop3 is enough for me.
Very true that generaly SE didnt do well with first UIQ3 phones. It should be done much smarter, but they payed a price for that and still paying I believe.

@Billdoor13, there are people using push email that donīt have daily restarts...but yes, they will have less multitasking capability...but daily restarts is not normal for both P990 and M600 right now, if that exists there are other problems with the phones, like corrupted data

This was allsow the same problem with my N80, so its not only SE that have problems with the ram. As long as you know what you do with the phone then its not a problem. Its takes some time to learn what you can do at the same time on it. And after that, its not a problem. I think a lot of people is pushing it to the max. I know, I used to do it allsow. And I still think its the best toy out there, for me there is nothing better at this time

For me, the problem is not the memory limit or the occasional problems thrown up by multitasking - I can appreciate that there is only so much these phones can do all at once, and at some point you reach a point where either some applications need to be closed, and/or no more applications may be opened.
What I find completely unnacceptable, is the erratic behaviour of the phones when this point is reached. The OS should be perfectly capable of kicking in and salvaging itself, by closing apps and freeing up the memory it needs. It shouldn't need to restart or reboot, and it really shouldn't lock up, as mine is currently doing quite frequently. It should be possible to completely "max out" the phone and have it recover itself, without resorting to anything as drastic as a restart, and at the moment it just doesn't seem to be.
