The phone used to show me the wrong time b4 too if I put it on automatic. Both phones and network can adjust time if you check the appropriate boxes but I never do..it screws up everytime. So I change 'em manually.Get the World Time app maybe it'll do better if you need multiple times around the world.

You need to read between the lines ...
"You are screwed. Just hope if/when we release an update your problem will be fixed ... because we will not tell you: what we are fixing right now or what was fixed.
While you are waiting you can go to our website and buy another junk.

I sent the same email to SE tech support in different countries which carry P990i. ONLY SE US replied this kind of BS.

Some other asked me for a detailed info of what I did, my phone software version, etc. And they said they said they will get back to me later.

I hope i'm wrong but the extra information which they required from you does not mean you will get useful answer. It will be very interesting so see what life span requests have.

... Anyway i will be glad to "decode" it for you ...

I just started a thread on this about Active sync. Basically, My computer has appts. showing start time at 4pm and my P990i shows start time of 3pm. I tried to play with the settings and adjust everything and change time, but still no go. Basically I manually adjusted my time to correct time, but now my calendar is off by an hour while active sync/ms exchange has the right time on my Outlook and Nokia phone.

Look, I'm not saying that SE should jump whenever USA decides to change something against the rest of the world, but Nokia did it so why can't SE? I'm sure there are a lot of business travelers going to USA for business and the P990i is a business phone. I guess just like everyone else I will have to wait the 3 weeks.
