1 - We need more usable RAM, or at least, less memory leaks. If you start with around 15-16mb (not considering RAM obtained with reclaims level 3 of Swiss Manager Pro), and if we would have that same ammount of RAM during the day, i would say multitasking would improve ALOT. If SE managed to get us more RAM at star by optimizing the firmware, even better. Truth is, depending on the type of apps used after boot, after one day you can have just 10-11mb, or 9-8mb usable RAM (if Opera is used alot). This also would help alot people that use push email, that suffer more from RAM shortages

2 - Opera is still not stable. Sometimes Opera closes down by itself when loading some web pages fully, something that doesn´t happen with opera mini. We expect to have acess to the new soon to be launched opera mobile 9. Its the list SE can do for us!

3 - Sound is LOW compared with normal SE phones (k750, w800). In an ambient with some other noise, like a gym, i have to use LCS Jukebox and put equalizer at max, and even so, the volume is not enough. Nothing has been done about this on all updates

4 - Where are the animated themes??? UIQ3 should have animated themes support, but we have nothing so far

4 - Camera software seems the same through all updates. There is too much noise reduction sometimes, making landscape photos "blured". People also report autofocus problems since the beggining. We miss a point to focus also on scree. Please work also the camera software.

5 - Today Screen on standby, why can´t we have it like it exists on W950 and M600?? We should have the option, this is the most expensive phone of SE after all

6 - Why can´t we change standby shortcut icons on FO mode, like on W950 and M600

7 - Like on w950, users should be alowed to turn off transitions

8 - Alarms don´t work when phone is off, like it happens on other SE phones. This is dumb. It can be serious sometimes

9 - User should decide if he wants light to be on when talking to someone


10 - Its not very important, but why light is on when phone is off, and charging?

11 - RSS app should work on FC, and have image, sound and video support. Its so basic right now that is unexplainable, specially compared in other SE phones rss reade, or even opera mini rss reader

12 - Image thumbnails on caller id, galleries, etc suffer from too much image compression. This was never corrected, never. They are full of artifacts

13 - Why alarms app, calculator, etc don´t work on FC???

14 - We should be able to remap what we want in terms of keyboard shortcuts

15 - Why can´t we put username and password on proxy settings for internet accounts

16 - PC Smartphones Suite needs update. We need more options, sms management, sms sending by pc (like Nokia suite), and of course, better backup app. People are always complaing about it.

17 - SE should be a bit more like Nokia regarding UIQ support. This is a perfect example

18 - Some users with exact same firmware experience frequent restarts, even on calls, while others don´t have none. Why is that?? SE should find a way to make every user get the same results after flashing

19 - If we let camera app stay on background (and other apps too), battery life will be seriously affected

20 - We should be alowed to make back button close apps instead of just putting them on background

21 - Keyboard shortcuts for camera that exist in every other SE phone are missing...why??? we need those

22 - Sometimes camera app takes alot to load, or just doesn´t work (needs to be closed, then started again)

23 - SE should consider an update to UIQ 3.1 to save its seriously damaged image because of initial UIQ3 firmwares and lack of comunication with users

24 - Why aren´t UIQ3 phones SIP capable? (the feature is on UIQ 3.1 i know, but should also be on this generation phones)

25 - So far we only can record videos on 3GP format. AFAIK we should be able to record in the superior MP4 format...this feature is missing so far

26 - Signing process seems to be too hard/pricey for small developers. Also, its hard to sign freeware apps. SE should also try to change this

27 - Why UIQ3 phones have no flash lite support when alot of ordinary and much cheaper SE phones have it??? Makes no sense

28 - Why can´t SE make a easier way for people to know if there is a new firmware for their devices, instead of having to turn off the phone and connect to SEUS everytime?

29 - Please start publishing changelogs with every firmware version

30 - Calendar alarms appear to use the phone's Alarm sound rather than the specifc calender alarm sound - this can be anoying!!!

31 - Calendar alarms show the hour of the reminder and not the hour of the appointment when ringing

32 - More than 6 months after P990 launch, we never got acess to a higher capacity battery, a must have for some people on the road

33 - Sometimes phone reboots upon conecting via usb to PC

34 - Would be usefull to be able to change Backlight timer into 10,20,30 sec

35 - We would like to be able to use the camera led has Flashlight (as on k750/w850)

36 - Password protection on inbox & folders is another missing feature

37 - On the messaging folders, we should be able to move and copy messages on all types of folders, not just inbox

38 - Another simple feature missing is being able to use front cam can take picture

39 - Improvement on Java performance has been required for long. Java 3d games that work great on less powerfull phones like the k750, are too slow on the P990

40 - People report a 4gb msduo problem (experience a delay when taking video saved on 4gb msduo)

41 - There is missing support on external flash accesories

42 - We all saw some prototype P990s that can record radio broadcast. Why this feature is missing???

43 - People report problems between sound and video sync when recording videos

44 - Most SE phones can record calls. That should also be on UIQ phones

45 - Also, clock on standby mode is missing

46 - Faster app loading, and faster boot

47 - Manual equalizer on media player

48 - Status view in FO mode (its only available fc)

49 - Please remove restriction for apps to autostart (this stupid change was introduced in january
