Can't say I see any reason to change it. Also why a Scotsman? No offence to anyone, but surely that would be better suited to scottish notes?

We'll get the Euro, it's already on the way - via the back door - our notes are almost the same size, they 'look' Euro-ish and the £ is practically locked in to the value which is all they need to do. I can't remember a time it dropped below the 65 - 70p mark. Coincidence I think not.
Being 'strong' won't stop us being locked in - we did it once before with the ERM but of course that was ill-conceived at the time.
I really think our attentions would be better turned to sorting out the ever increasing chav society that invades our peace and quiet. Rather than worrying about the colour of our notes, lets sort out the unsavoury characters that appear to be spending them without contributing to society first.

old peeps are only just getting used to £'s and P's they aint gonna get used to €'s and C's.....
i love my pounds, we are stronger than Ireland who didnt want to keep their punts.
after all we don't even want to be part of europe at the end of the day!

I think the rest of the notes are due to be replaced next spring.

so thats prob why they have revamped the £20
It wouldn't take a long time to get aquaninted to the EURO over here,
like everywhere else they have to sucome to change eventually

£50 notes are cool, but 100/200/500Euro notes are better! had some 100 euro notes before. one day i'll get my hands on a 500 euro note!!!(£350)

Probaly cos im with Lloyds TSB and all they dish out from the ATM's is £20's or £10's

nowhere takes them!
I had one in Dublin and I'd spent €100 in Virgin and they wouldn't take my note so i said stuff ya! I'll buy my music elsewhere!!
