i'm sure KK said he's engraved the back of a black 8800. best thing to do is go in the shop and see what they say.
by the way ... i broke my 8800 today
think its the springs. comes up to far and gets stuck... wont go back down?

Another benefit of engraving your 8800 besides how great it looks is that it will be a theft deterrent.
