maybe because the w700 camdriver is not compatible with the k750 camera. try to upload a k750 camdriver to your w700. i dont think it will work, but give a try

yeh im guessing thats why..
but how would i upload the cam driver? do you know of any guides?

W700 is CID 49 but W800 is CID 36. I think there is a few people who converted CID 49 K750 phones to W800 by just flashing the main. so I don't think it is a problem.
easiest way is to try just flash a CID 49 K750 Main file onto your phone. To see if it works. if it works then it should be able to convert to a W800 CID49.

what if it doesnt work.. will the phone be useless?
also where can i get a k750 main file?

Your phone should work as a W800 but don't blame me if your phone dies. your phone is not designed to be a W800. Playing with Firmware is always very risky. you could brick your phone and you will need to take it to a phone shop to get it flashed back to the original firmware.
having said all that..
Naamloos has tried already to flashed W700 firmware onto K750.

if he is able to flash W700 firmware onto K750 and find the camera is the only thing that does not work. it stands to reason that the hardware is the same (except for the camera.)
I would suggest you try K750 CID49 main file. there is one here:

If it works it is fairly easy to upgrade a K750 to a W800.

(don't forget to upload a w800i camdriver0.dat file as you did not flash FS.)
if it does not work. simply flash the W700 main file back onto the phone. because you didn't flash the GDFS or the EROM and the CID has not been changed. then no damages should be done and you are back to where you started.
(make sure you backup everything before you do it. MyPhone Explorer is the best for doing this.)
