If i'm not mistaken it looks like another new addition to the K800i new firmware (R1KC001) is the ability to to veiw your phones internal 64mb as another removable storage device while plugged into your compuer if your phone is in file transfer mode, i'm not too sure if you've been able to do that in previous firmware versions...let me know.

Yes, you could, it has been there in all firmware releases I have had installed on my K8. The M2 appears as ine drive, and the phone memory as another. However, they seem to be synchronized in some way, since if you right-click on any of the two drive icons in the file explorer and select Eject, both drives disappear.

Thanks Bro,
Well i used to have a vodafone branded k800i so i flashed to the generic Sony Ericsson firmware...way way better, then i managed to find the original Cybershot housing and ordered the non branded top keypad so its completely non branded and i love it now...i'm sorry but i hate vodafone!!! I used to have R1GJ001 and loved the video preview in file manager and never experienced any crashing or stability issues so im a bil dissapointed, otherwise all good news about the new R1K firmware
