It's been going on for a good while now. It's mainly the P990i threads that bring the worst out in people. Often it's not down to people being stupid but sheer laziness. They'll see a thread with more than 1 or two pages and then just post a question that has been answered many times before should they bother to read a bit. What then happens is the people who would normally happily help build up an apathy and wont post the same reply over and over which leads to the newbie posting 5 minutes later screaming for help.

what do u think, when a newbie is reading this thread, will he feel ok? might be u are right in some points, BUT its NOT the way to talk to imo, cos when u ( an old and respected member ) choose this way to solve a problem, what should we wait from a newbie next time... at least old esato members, who spent hours here already, should show example how to start, discuss and solve a problem...
ps so pls, edit the thread for a more welcome text, cos the actual is offended imo

Also, how do you define a n00b?
I've been coming to Esato for years but didn't create a user account until 2006. Prior to that all I did was search for answers without contributing.
