Just remembered something whilst chatting to Aware - I've got a couple of dead BST-33 batteries which when I try to charge them in my W850i or K800i they just display a constant red LED when you attach a charger.

I'm wondering if it's actually a battery problem, if you can get hold of one or got a spare batt in another phone, try that battery in you W850i before you start despairing, you could just have a dead battery!

....well......after this being written off by a service centre, thanks to me, IT LIVES!!!

Faults: Cheap CNN keypad shorts phone out - ANY PHONE!!(who said CNN did good spares???). Non - OEM screen works, but not very bright........oh, main ribbon connector was also damaged(will make a perfect phone do WSOD, quite funny, actually), so that 's been swapped......OH, FRONT camera doesn't work anymore, neither does GAME 'B' button, but who uses them, anyway??

All's well that ends well!

Well done Aware!

You'll have to publish a guide on taking these apart, I haven't dared take mine apart yet!
