I have billionton bluetooth software 1.2.2.9 component version. Is it ok if i use the widcom software 16 or higher version? My O.S. is winxp. I have paired both devices already. The serial port in my bluetooth places in my pc is the only thing that works. I cant send business cards and files from phone to pc. When i send them via bluetooth, i starts out as a short msg from my phone saying \"sending\" then suddenly changes to \"tranferring failed retry?\". My pc detects my phone during the sending msg part

@solobaric:
I am sure the widcomm software works fine with any USB B/T key. As long as you have the correct driver installed for your key first. I would reccommend uninstalling all other BT software first.

@.V.
Do you have a billionton USB key as well as Solobaric? Perhaps the Widcomm software doesn't like those keys for some reason.
It's weird that it works on the mac and not the pcs though. Sounds a tricky one. Have you tried contacting the key manufacturer? Maybe they will have technical support and have a suggestion?

Billionton may well not know what software you are talking about as it is not theirs and it looks like they don't support it.
Have they no software on their site they support? You need to tell them it is Widcomm software that supports USB B/T keys. It seems very likely though that you will have to use different B/T software for your key. It will be worth asking them what they recommend.
