And why would that be? Signal going to the earpieces would serve as source input for my amplifier, simple!

Since these cables also come from SonyEricsson themselves, I cannot imagine it shoud cause any harm to the phone, unless you short-circuit the connectors or feed the output with a power source or similar, of course.

I have a 100W Amplifier + Speakers, I guess the only way to find out for sure is to try
