OK so CZ did advise nokia, even after that its inferior to SE, which means there are other things required which SE got from Sony and Nokia figured them selves.

i think mobileburn's N95 is pre-production (he has firmware 10.0.016 - production unit has 10.0.018). That's why you can see the purple tint in all the photos. In the production N95, this purple tint has been fixed.

and does that make Nokia better

so they are not backed by a camera company (well sort of) but they are a large tech company, so there is no reason why they cant make good cams them selves.... though that would take time.....

it doesnt make them better, but its understandable why they constantly under perform in camera stuff, and in the music area aswell.

@QGVA,
Sorry are you saying that Nokia constantly under perform in Music abilities because if so that is utter BS.
I don't know which phones you have been listening to or what with but my N93 Music Player is every bit as good as a Walkman phone. I can adjust the preset Equaliser settings and even create my own. Listening to Music at just 40% -50% is more than loud enough for my needs. Unlike when i recently tested a W950 and W880 and confirmed by many users of those phones also.
As for the more is better Mega Pixel race in phones IMO this is just pointless a Camera in a phone is there for convenience and as long as they take a reasonable picture that's it. No one that is serious about Photography is going to replace a dedicated Camera with one in their phone.
Well that's my view on it anyway, I just wish we could get away from this childish my brand is always best yours sucks mentality and just judge each device purely on their merits or deficiencies pure and simple and also start comparing like for like the K800 is a camera phone first and foremost it main function besides being a phone is it's Camera abilities hence it's Cybershot moniker the N95 on the other hand is a multimedia smart phone power house that is also a GPS device and takes pictures.

@mib- sometimes you have to face up to the reality, defending a brand because you love it is absurd to the extreme. The n95 is an excellent piece of technology but that doesn't mean it is going to be perfect in everything. Don't try to find reasons why when there aren't any.

I am not a fan of Nokia....
Bit like I am not a fan of Nintendo... all prefered the Sega at the time
But I gave the Nintendo Wii a chance.... and it is cool... it is fun....
I have had Sony Ericsson phones nearly exclusively for 5 years plus...
Recently the P900, K750i, W810i, M600i, K800i, P990i and the W880i..
After playing with satnav on the P990i... I got the N95 for the satnav... the camera was a bonus..
The camera will never replace my stand alone Cybershot... and in some areas the pictures are better on the K800i... flash was outstanding... but I am really impressed with the video taking on the N95... and I am ashamed to say... this is the first time in years that I had been excited about using a phone since the P800...
There are things that bug me about the N95... but Nokia have seduced me to be a user of one of there phones... something I thought was impossible...
