it's in tesco though...tesco tried to get rid of it when they refurbed the store from a one stop, i think there was a certain amount of threats / boycotting going on there though actually...so we still have a post office! for now atleast...

Again post offices are closing because of the government. Post offices used to make money from Car tax (only main post offices can do this now), pensions (now all paid by direct debit) and lots of other things. Now most smaller post offices only are able to deal with the post. The government take away everything that made the post offices money and are then surprised that many have to close as they arent making any money.

Eventually alot prob will close as Royal mail have introduced PAYG Postage on there website you pay to print the stamps out!

stupid idea this if they think im gunna spend £50 on ink cartridges they can sod off!
