shouldn't be an error of inputting the wrong IMEI..

if you loose your phone the network should perform some kind of check to see what phone you were using there then should be an option to bar that phone...

well that's how it works at the company I worked for.

Right,

I Let my girlfriends younger brother use the phone for a couple of weeks whilst his was away for repair! he used it with his vodafone PAYG!

His mother got him the phone from Bright-house and has failed to keep up the repayments, so they have blocked the phone unfortunately for me it is my handset they have blocked and not his!!

So now i have to wait for his mother to sort it out as i cannot discuss the account with vodafone!

What a Pain in the Arse!

All because i was kind enough to lend somebody a phone!!

I am still not convinced. Vodafone should block the service or service /phone that is related to them and their customer. Why should they block your phone? That also without informing the lawful owner?

Menu*1, are you in a jungle state? Why the law of the country can't protect your right? Or, am I too ignorant to expect something impossible in the universe?

Believe it or not this is still going on!

I now have a 12month old W810i paperweight sat on my desk!

I ring O2 customer services they say "sorry your phone was barred by Vodafone on the 4th of April, we are unable to help you, you will need to ring Vodafone customer services"

I then ring Vodafone customer services "Sorry we didn't issue you with the handset, you will need to contact your service provider"

All this telephone tennis is making me extremely angry and tired! I even got told to stop swearing at one point when I let "Bloody" slip out once!

Any body got any ideas on this one??
