I sent a phone by special delivery at 4:30 yesterday and by 9am today had an email saying it had arrived. Great service.

I'm bloody pissed off with royal mail. I've sent something before by special next day. arrived fine - this time sending laptop back for repair, it said it was guaranteed to arrive the day after it was meant to on the website, and ever since then it's had nothing on there to do with the delivery. the royal mail can go stick their head up their backside if they want me to use them again for stuff like this! I don't know whether it's got there or not, as it's my father that bought it - so he has to contact them and 'hasn't had the time to'.......arghhhh

Its now been and gone for delivery on monday and still nothing, so a package i sent by special delivery 10 days ago is still yet to be delivered anywhere!
Fantastic Service!

I sent someone on ebay a phone before, by Special Delivery, and I gave the tracking number to the guy who bought it.
I then got a message from the buyer asking where it was as it hadn't arrived, so I checked the website, which said it'd been posted. I then rang them up and they said "yep, it's been signed for, we'll e-mail you a copy of the signature", which I got and it was a scan of the form the postman asks you to sign with a genuine signature on it.
So I sent this to the buyer, and he insists he never signed for it, nor did anyone else in his house, so last I heard from him he was taking it up with the post office in Hull, but I personally reckon he was trying to pull a fast one
Although, the name in the signature, which was fairly visable, wasn't his name. Hmm.....

So 12 days after i originally posted the phone by 'next day gaurenteed delivery' it has evetually been returned back to me.
And....
...It is in perfect condition, still sealed, no damage, address label still intact and no label on the side as i was told there would be telling me why it wasnt delivered.
So it seems that my phone wasnt delivered because they didnt feel like and theyre next day service eventually took 12 and i cant claim any compensation for loss of money as i didnt take out the insurance that they didnt tell me about or advertise.
Now thats what you call good service!

Only problem is, they've got a monopoly on it, there's few other ways of sending small cheap packages easily, so they, unfortunately, relax a bit too much on stuff like that :/
