I just watched it, and my vote is: wait for the rental.

It wasn't bad, but it didn't have the creepy eeriness of the first one. I will say this, though: it's never boring, it never drags, and it will make you jump - a lot!

I could be wrong, as I've only seen the trailer so far (trailer cut-scenes are often presented out of context, obviously). But that's one impression that immediately comes across.

Regardless, I'm still watching it

... Because in part I the Brits f*cked everything up? So I'd assume the interim zombie-government calls on washington on day 29 to bring order to chaos? Anyhow - partI's on the telly tonight, and I won't watch it nor part II, cause pt I was cr*p...even Shaun of the dead was more consistent...hell, I shut up now!
