i believe they could choose two phones, and theree were no catogories per say. perhaps, we could do it with the catogories this year.

I was thinking maybe each one could choose 2 phones for each category, and we would have a top 3 or top 5 for each. not sure though, what do you guys think would be best? also, we could have a detailed result published after the event, with all the statistics included (numbers of voters, percentage voted for phone, ect.).

imo we should give many brands an options and wthin the brands the resulr for the most voted fones ranked in a list

best multimedia phone -

ect.

I see your point. actually I do prefer for it to be in the original format, as I think it can be useful as a reference point for phone buyers looking for specific types of phones, or maybe to settle a discussion about which phone doing what is best ? however, we can collate the results from the main poll and form a secondary poll based on your suggestion? I wouldn't be suprised if some manufacturers don't make it into the awards, though.

i can imagine an extra vote for smartfones yet within the different brands. this could be continualy displayed on the easto home page, maybe refrehed every week, so newcomers could vote too. but sy should coordenate it to avoid doubleposting and manage it.
