t610 has good reputation anyway while t650 still on its way... i guess but it might be a prelude turnover idea to a new mobile hitmaker.

It would be wierd if every major character had an SE. Seems only Harry can afford a new, stylish phone, but that would not be very empathetic.

At least Harry should have been shown with a T650 or at least a K800.

Harry was not quite good of a role model i think. I mean, people wouldn't want to empathize with him..

To clarify a few things...
First of all it is MJ that has the phone not Peter or Spidey. Second its a black T630 not a T610. Little things I know, but as far as the conspiracy goes, the T650 isn't really related design wise to the T650. The generation of phones like K700 and P910 owe to the T630.

So I'm sorry if the theory is a little off, I just think the film was shot a while ago.

why would they wanna put old phones in the film? i would rather put newer phones, and may be mix it up a lil, but definitely not the old ones alone.

maybe se didnt have enough money to pay for a t650 fone, the sponsors named a bigger amount as expected for t650 advertisement. well, /// managed in james bond that proto, seems they are better at dealing and have more sense for advertisement...

Noooo it can't be a T630, or it ruins my conspiracy!

I'm afraid it is a T630 as it says Quickshare on the side and as I said its all black. I spotted it in the movie pretty clearly.

Like I said I think the movie started shooting quite a while ago. And as far as product placement in movies is concerned I have two things to say. First, they straddle a fine line between showing prototypes too early and generating buzz around a new phone. To get one of the suggested phones into this movie it would have needed to be available to the film producers almost 2 years ago. Second, a film like Spidey 3 isn't exactly the best vehicle for prototypes and generating phone buzz. It worked so well in Bond because he is renowned for having gadgets and the film was targeted at an older audience. Spidey aims to hit everyone, not just the older tech and action happy crowd.
