wifi is still very expensive to add to a handheld device. To add wifi adds greatly to the retail cost and people are looking for bargain prices as it is.

Sony has a Cybershot with built-in wifi, a g-series, can't remember the exact model off-hand.

but I bet it's more epxensive than non wifi camera of the same capacity and performance.

I also find it weird!! The funniest is the Hewlett Packard digicam, they sell it with a bluetooth capable photo printer but the cam doesnt have Bluetooth!!

@max, you're right about the camera being more expensive then a non-wifi camera with the same specs, and it's pretty bulky too.

@786KBR, that's a really interesting point you raised, I wonder why they packaged it that way too.

Well bluetooth is really close to useless on a camera. The transfer speed is really much too slow, especially when you're talking about photo sizes of 3MB+ per photo.

Wifi is still gimmicky on digital cameras. There just isn't much use for it because it isn't implemented well.
