I had the same with my M600, it went to the service point here in Antwerp, and he could not fix it, so it went to Sonyericsson, two weeks ago. i am using my old P910 again, sorry this is scrap, you can hit a nail in a wooden table with it, i am not used to a thick phone like that. I hope my M600 is comming fast and are looking at

Never had any issue with mine - it's clear as a bell, especially in 3G areas. Obviously if you're in a poor signal area it won't be quite so good, but that's just in the nature of mobile phones, not a manufacturing problem. Some phones will have better reception, many will have worse.

Never had a problem with mine in 6 months. I also use a P990i and also no problem. What the poster "forgets" maybe to tell us is that the phone is possibly Orange branded and that the Orange network in Romania sucks most of the places being poorly maintained and overloaded.

Actually the phone is a retail version, it is not Orange branded. Orange coverage in my city as well in all country is quite good, almost always 4-5 lines. I had 3 Sagem phones in the past and while they weren't smart phones they did work well on the same network.
I can live with the fact that my m600i is just a "bad luck" one. I hope the next one (P1) will prove to be better.
