Oh dear

I've seen boot from USB on one or two PCs but that's all, so it's unlikely. The motherboard and BIOS has to support it.

group policy is pushed from the domain controller, so gpedit only works for local logons.

If r trying to access remotely try remote administrator but still u need administrator privillage.
