Megabass on the w800 is brilliant!but yes it has so much bass that it distorts at full volume simply turn it down a bit as it loud enough even while in a truck,lol i'm talking from experience .

now seriously - as far as somebody uses cheap headphones with not that good bass response(HPM70 included) Megabass is helpful.Otherwise,the result is excessive and overwhelming bass and distorsion.

Megabass turns the song into anotger dimension. it's not the same listen to a song with the normal bass than with megabass. i've become addicted to it.

I personally love MegaBass and I really miss it on my K790a. It's really another dimension, as Tranced puts it. It's amazing!

Another crappy song that MegaBass helps is Mis Teeq - Scandalous.
