OK, the K and W series has the same walkan players.
but the K series is for more business people, W series is i think more for young people which wants to listen to the music and sometimes take a nice photo.
When you buy a W series you get i don't know 1GB memory card or 512MB card.
When you buy a K series you get 128MB the most.
I think thats the biggest difference.

Not to mention dedicated Walkman button, which is really useful

excuse me, but whats the difference between
walkman players and
media players? walkman players is.... more interesting?? if you take it that way, media player sounds like is able to play more formats(including video) than walkman which is for music
if you compare k series and w series,you just can't say walkman logo is nicer! this depends on everyones opinion. that logo imo sucks because it looks childish, k series, especially cyber shot phones sounds more mature.
and about orange color.... imo, what i think about orange phones is... i better shut up...

look at it this way...k750 and w800 are indentical as hardware...there is only the difference in software which can be resolved easily..i had a k750 with hpm 70 hands-free and later changed my soft to w800 and guess what?...no difference whatso ever
so my answer is A+E

But wz K you miss dedicated walkman button, miss latest walkman v.2, poor loudspeaker when ringing & playback music, you hv to buy better handset (HPM-75)...
I will not mention the Battery life so K owners don't hate me, They have a better camera anyway
I think mobile cameras is just for fun not real imaging devices, while walkman serious is real IPod replacement.

hmm.. for the battery, i got to agree that my K800 have poor battery lifetime, compared to W800 and W550. so no choice lower the brightness of the screen its a must for me.
thats another con of Kseries... though i've been happy using K series, past experience having dedicated W button and ability of scrolling music thru playlist is just unforgettable.
