Hi all,

Well i think SE showed some really nice devices as we all know they are capable of producing the K850 seems to tick all the right boxes with HSDPA and the others specs.

I actually really like the W960 and am really disappointed that a UIQ Walkman phone doesn't have HSDPA and is still getting the same processor and graphics chip as the Original UIQ3 devices. It was old then and then it is seriously dated for launch late 2007 so close yet so far as no HSDPA and those same crappy old processors just don't cut it on premium Data device for launch late 2007. Ruined for me what could of been a really interesting device and even purchase shame on you SE.

You do realize that having double the ram is a far better upgrade than any processor right? If you know anything about computers, it is true that you are far more likely to get a speed jump going from 1 gb of ram to 2 gb of ram than going from a 2.4 ghz processor to a 2.7 ghz processor.

Well said Shaliron.

The K850i is such a good phone. I can see this easily having the same impact as the K750i when this was launched.

Its packed, and I mean Packed, with great technology and all in a K750i sized shell.

It has loads of selling points for retailers which they are gonna love, Auto pic rotation, Auto Lens cover, 5mp, video blogging etc, and I can see this being free on a lot of contracts.

It'll have a decent battery life and is a great design. A sure fire hit and the one to beat. The best of the bunch of phones launched yesterday.

2inch screen is definitely too small. 2.2 inch is passable for a mid-range phone but imo a bit short-changed for an expensive (599euro???) K850.

N95 bulky? Have you hold one in your hand before?

My take on the new SE phones is quite simple:

Sony Ericsson seems not to be in a hurry like Nokia to relese a dozen phones everyday,looks like they take their own time....

The new phones are quite dazzling and great,lets wait and see....

The only fault i can see for me is that i quite like k530i with all the outdoor things it can do with the gps add on but its a shame its not in a waterproof rubber shell

Yeah you need to look after it suppose you use it in the rain nokia did offer a gps shell on their 5140 but i expect you will be able to buy a case
