hmm. thanks all for the advice.
I'm planning on getting a friend to hide and film what's going on. I'll call the number and see if I can ask how to find fake notes.
If he does give me fakies, will insurance cover me? Or am I screwed.
(of course we're doing some extreme jumping right now)

if they are fake a bank "should" change them if you bank with them...
it's in their interest to take fake notes of out circulation...
but any note I've ever seen that was fake was easily spotted...
public open space, as someone suggested car park...
also.. if he is coming to pick it up how is he getting there? cuz I know I can't drive 2 cars at once!
I've only ever had one sale outside of ebay and that was for my Vertu and that went all fine, met in a motorway service station..

Could you not get him to check out the car first and then if he wants to go ahead go to the bank with him and get him to deposit the money over the counter that way they can check? I know if i was buying off somebody i wouldn't mind the seller doing that, you wouldn't if you have nothing to hide.
