Probably. But turning off the sound in the settings menu works for me

I don't know if you have that option in the branded versions, or in some specific country's thought..

im able to silent the shutter by turning my phone to silent. though not all phones can do this because of privacy policies.

Yes. That's working for me to. But I don't need the silent mode on when I turn the sound off in the camera settings menu. It dosen't make a sound anyway because it's silent regardless of the silent mode on the phone

Ehm. Sorry if the post I posted some minutes ago (with the quote) didn't clear that. But I replyed to my own post where I wanted a answer regarding the new K850i phone. (I have repleaced my k750i with a new K850i a month ago.)

So,t I just wanted to answer myself if somebody else was wondering about the shutter sound on the K850i.
