The Swastika has been around a lot lot lot longer than just on the arm of the SS and the Nazi regime, the sign has been found on neolithic helmets and tools dating back to 8500BC... the word swastika is derived from a Sanskrit word meaning well-being, It is also a very religious symbol, being used in Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism.
It's just a shame the logo that means so much to so many has been forever dirtied by the nazi regime.
But no, the swastika itself hasn't changed the world, maybe what it stood for between 1918 and 1946 has changed the world but WWII is a different thread altogether.
