Totally agree with mib. The quality we see with K850 is the quality we'll get when it will be released. The hardware is made, its finalized, mass production has probably started.
Whoever thinks a firmware upgrade will have a noticeable effect on picture quality is only kidding them selves. I am not saying K850 will disappoint, but those who are, dont except your disappointment to end when the phone arrives.
QVGA did you read what I just said! Why are you talking about firmware all of a sudden!! Grrrrrr!! Read both my posts
I HAVE not talked about firmware!!
I HAVE not compared nor mentioned a dedicated cam to k850!!
ggggrrrr.
Why is it all of a sudden every one knows the cam quality before the phone is released!

My post wasnt directed towards you, but since we're on it, what does it mean:
"all functions such as AF and macro have been taking out"

@admad
how do you know it was only xumdeo's unit that had no af? did you ask every one who has one/used one???
well, not everything is in fact finalised, there are still some decisions to be made. ccd lens have been tested in k850i, but its not been confirmed which lens they are going to be using in retail version afaik. though i think it will stay with cmos imo.

KingBooker5:
You may not have mentioned comparing to dedicated cam but you did implicated that the final production photo will be much better than the proto which is not likely to be so. At this point, the K50 core hardware is most probably finalised. So the tweaking is the processing algorithm and this will not do miracles.

I never said much better. But with the phone not being released like I said it may just be nokia fanboys.
With features like macro and all that missing, we may aswell be looking at pix taken from a w850
