So what does everyone think I should do?
I've phoned o2 just now and they told me they can't get anywhere near this tariff and only offered me the same deal as new customers, which they claimed was a new policy!!! I smell bullshit but hey ho, have requested my pac code.
The o2 guy said he'd seen this offer from p4u in a flyer in a paper before. Has anyone else because I didn't realise it was an offer they publicise!

The tariff I'm being offered is the 5th from bottom. I'm a bit concerned about the cost of media messages, 36p. Are these not includes is sms as 4sms=1media or the like?!?
My only other concern is can i downgrade to any voda tariff after 9 months!
p4u have been calling me regularly today but i've been at work so unable to answer. Seen as tho my deadline was supposed to be tomorrow I may leave it and see if they call me to offer a better deal as they deal I have been offered is not an unique as I first thought!

If your on a 18 month contract, then its true you will not be able to downgrade untill 9 months of your contract has past, its the same with O2, Vodafone and 99% certain its the same with Orange and T Mobile and 3.
The 1 mms that takes 4 out of your allowance is a O2 feature, i am not sure if the other networks do it, pretty sure they don't. Personally i would stay well away from phones4u and carphonewarehouse, best going to the network direct, incase you get stung by these retailers.
Also i am not sure why they gave you a deadline for this deal, since this deal is available to anyone, who goes to a phones4u store, its not really a special promotion deal for you, so i doubt they will bring out some deal for only you, if its not on the website, the deal and not advertised in the store, then its a special deal for you only, but if it is, then its available to anyone. but yeah u will get calls from that phones4u advisor a number of times, they will keep buggin u, untill u tell them that u aint interested anymore. they do tend to be desperate phones4u.

Cheers Guys, I will go on the vodafone website and see if I can find a comparable tariff and the go into Vodafone this weekend and see what they can offer.
Problem is they'll be able to tell I don't want to join p4u.
Anyway we'll see what happens!

Well I went into Vodafone and asked for the deals on the N95, they couldn't offer me anything comparable. Just the standard £40 pm 500 mins, 250 sms with 3 extras, so could upgrade to 500sms, stop the clock and 6 months free sky mobile tv. The phone would be £50 and it would be an extra £7.50 pm for the unlimited net.
P4u is looking really tempting but I'm really put off by what everyone is saying about them.
Argghh!!!
