Actually I don't want SE out of business, but blind supporters like me (until now) have spoiled SE. If we bow to SE's like we are doing today I am sure it will go the way Ericsson had gone.

There is saying in Chinese "Customer is God". We, the customer could force the wrong attitude of big brothers like SE, of course if we unite.

Buy a nokia, that's what i did.The only decent phones se ever made were the t68i and p910.Before you slate me.The p800 was unstable, the p900 was only partially better and all the other phones have real shite joysticks.Anyone that denies the above are sheer numptys, or for want of a better word se fanboys.Maybe the w810 is ok due to its navigation pad but i'm no java fan(symbian/wm only)..Got a n70 and n95.Both top notch.Never looked back on swedish junk.

I will probably go for Samsung. Actually I never considered Samasung because it is Korean before I bought a Samsung phone for my father. It was his choice. Comparing with similar phones of other brands it is quite good.

I agree about t68i, it was my first SE also – even bought all the accessories , camera radio etc. But what SE have done regarding the 990 is sort of unforgivable – especially for anyone who purchased it outside a subsidised phone contract.

Phone brands live on the “cool” factor and this applies to high end as well as low end. I think this 990 business has the potential to hurt the P1 a lot. UIQ and Symbian seems to be a very bad marriage.

I’d be willing to bet that having OSX on a mobile device is going to bring about huge changes. Think back to the early ipod days . Creative labs was there before Apple with MP3 players. They are still sort of there but struggling. I wouldn’t be surprised to see SE mirror Creative’s fate.

Only ever had 1 samsung.It was the a300 or whatever it was with the blue window display.It couldn't ring and vibrate simultaneously if my memory serves me right.After symbian..Uiq and s60 i couldn't go back to a fashion phone.

Thought I havn't used P990 but i feel yours and everyones pain who have been back stabbed by SE. This kind of attitude is totally unacceptable and a company of miniature size should know better than to pull crap like this. Nokia can do this and get away but I seriously hope SE pays for this with their upcoming line up of P1 and W960. One flop symbian product should be enough as a wake up call.
All in all, very disappointing and immature attitude by SE to say the least. The smart phone market is very strong and SE is very weak and rookie in this department, I hope they learn.

Yes i do know thats what it means but why not just get on with it instead of moaning why cant people in here be more positive instead of moaning all the time why cant people be happy for a change the world would be a better place

Easy for you to say, but some people, like me for eg, want a satisfying experience from a phone thats worth 600$.
