You say that although from what I hear even the P1 won't have video recording capability as good as the W900. I hear it's going to be only 15fps on recording as opposed to 30fps on the W900.

if you're into video, then go for nokia, if you're into music, then go for any, if you're into fast menu then forget the smartphones, but especially sony ericsson. the p1 will be very expensive when it comes out. are you only into SE and nokia or do you consider other brands as well? what about samsung, LG, motorola etc..

@strizlow800
You know what you really are very funny as you say
"After all I don't want the buggy Symbian operating system and it's interface."
Just what OS do you think the P1 runs? It is Symbian with UIQ3 and as for being buggy SE managed to take this to whole new level never before seen.

Wabre I'm not stuck to any particular make as I'm not loyal to any one company I just go with whoever offers what I need at the time. Which at this moment seems to be nobody! Maybe it is worth waiting for the P1... I was hoping it would be released this month though but seems that's not going to be the case.

Well, the P1 is a combination of the 3 existing UIQ devices. form factor M and W series, cam and wifi, but in the end it's the same device and just more RAM. if you really want a fast device then you should look elsewhere. what about samsung and nice small devices with good cameras, good mp3 player and good video recorder. and most of them have tv-out so that you can browse the web, photos and videos and see them on your tv...not a bad idea.

I suppose it's probably worth the wait for the P1i to be released as it shouldn't be too far away now. Also a WM6 device might be worth trying from what I've heard of the new HTC Kaiser that's soon to be released.

If it's batt life that bothers you, you could buy a spare battery.I'd go for the n80 or n95.And whoever it was that said "forget buggy symbian" the days of the 7650 and 3650 are long gone.Just goes to show that you've either never used anything above os8 or if you have it's been simply due to inexperience..Ie user error.Forget the p1.It'll cost a fortune knowing se, and i wouldn't trust se as far as i could throw them after their recent mock ups with the p990 and m600.Good luck either way.

Agreed. I'd stay away from W960/P990/P1 simply because they are outdated devices.

Ah what a headache! Yup to be fair my main worry with the N95 is the battery life as I make a lot of calls and send a lot of sms's every day in my job and can't afford to be caught short. The spare battery idea isn't so bad though.
