@Jojo. Thats not likely due the overload protection in the recharge circuit of phones.
Plus the phone wasn't on charge at the time hence the 84% battery power.
The phone has been fine all day with no problems. Still using the same battery as well. Am going to see how it is tonight while I charge up another battery in my other phone.
The K810 is at 84% battery atm so will see how it goes.

@staz - Try to drain it first . .. prior to full-charging

! I think the batt is not the problem here, had it been . . . the batt-status would have dropped drastically even if the fone is just in stand-by mode

!

I think the battery status dropping from 84% to 1% in less than 3 hours in standby would be considered drastic mate. This shouldn't happen at all unless there was a short somewhere either in the battery itself or in the phone

@staz - Ohhhhh . . . that's a problem I guess . . . if in STAND-By mode, it should take days (batt) - right

and NOT just 3 hours

!

Exactly Jojo
I've just sent

an email about this problem to see what they say. Probably get the usual reply from them (run the update service/send it off and be without the phone for 10 weeks)

Yes Jojo as the K810 hasn't been available for 12 months yet. I only bought it sim free 2 weeks ago.
