> Have you ever drop your P990i?

Of course, I believe that if someone has not drop it off is because the phone is still in its box!... I have dropped my p990 lots of time, and eventhough it has lots of dents, it still works like a charm... this piece of Hardware is I think like the VW Bug, you can spend almost all your life with it and it will work, does not matter what!... the difference is that the VW Bug did not have software inside... because if it was so, it would not even start!
Cya!.

guys i think the reason we drop the p990 a lot because there is too many buttons everywhere and we are affraid to hold it tight enough so we won't push any buttons ...lol i dropped it before once on a hardwood floor and it acted weird like there was something loose so i tooke the chance and took the whole thing apart and made sure everything is tight and all the plugs are in and it's back to normal.

... dropped my P910 once; was so scratched I sent it to SEMC US who replaced the whole phone although I asked for the casing to be replaced... all for $200!
2 years after the fact, it just fell out of my pocket while still in the case; ended up with a lil "bruise/scratch"... should have been worse but the case saved it...

i was just starting up me model aeroplane (not a toy one a real petrol model)
about april (i think)
someone strapped their phone (i think it was a p990) to a model aeroplane to film it took it all the way up and the phone fell from the sky into a pile of grass cuttings

it survived!! . ill try to get the clip from the phone when i'm back up at the airfeild (if he hasnt done it again only onto the runway)

Ah paul101 that's a really cool idea; should get some really cool shots. Myself personally, I don't think I'd have the confidence to try it!
I have heard of people throwing their cameras up in the air to get some unique aerial pictures by using the timer. But unless it was a cheap camera or I was over a soft grassy area, I don't think I'd have the heart to do so..!
