Yes as i guessed, Orange could be in trouble selling you a contract as it`s their duty to do all they can to check your age & because you did state your correct age & the fact that they missed it is probably a worry to them.....if they asked you for it you could say...WHAT CONTRACT I`M NOT EVEN 18, HOW COULD I HAVE HAD A CONTRACT. leve it till after xmas though & remember Orange & others have recently introduced a system to block lost & stolen phones even if you try to use it on another network, so it could be useless + you may have trouble getting another contract with them in the future, so if i was you i`d do nothing till january then see if the phone works for a week on a differant sim, if it doesn`t you may as well give it back to them. ( if you sell it, you are stealing it, because you know it`s not your property).

Unlocking the phone from an operator lock is different and I doubt Orange will supply you with the correct codes especially as it's their property now! Re-programming is illegal and it'll be a lot harder to find someone now who will take the risk of imprisonment and fines for you as police patrol the internet and 'sting' such people offering these services.
