No dogmann, it is you who always make people feel somehow stupid for wanting to do this or that. Did you notice how you make it sound like since you don't have a need for it no one else could possibly have a need for it? AKA that other people must be a bit silly if they would want to use cable or bluetooth to access the internet? This is how you come across to other people mate, it's not just me who notices this.
Not everyone has wifi access point, for them bluetooth is a very neat solution. But no you have to make them feel like an ignoramous for even suggesting it. btw you did strongly suggest that N95 can't do internet access via computer.
It was YOUR words that were arrogant not mine. I don't feel inferior because I have a K800 and not analmighty N95. Infact it's YOU who feels superior and therefore you view anyone else as inferior if they don't realise the unarguable logic of your point of view.
"i don't think that can be done or even why any one would want to"
The above quote indicates to me that 1. you think it can't be done and 2. that you can't think of a reason why anyone would want to. Now either you think that because you have completely missed the obvious (ie the person wanting to do it may not have wifi access point), or you are so arrogant that you think that anyone wanting to do it is an ignoramous for having such lowly technology. Get off your high horse mate. We all have our valid reasons for wanting to do stuff and I get sick of you trying to make out people are idiots if they don't have the latest and greatest like you do.

Oh and i really don't think you can compare a bluetooth connection to WiFi it's not even close but i suppose as you only have WiFi b if at all and no HSDPA to you it seems incredibly fast.
When did I compare? The original poster mentioned methods OTHER THAN WIFI, and since he has a N95 (which has wifi built in as we BOTH know) I assume he has no wifi access point, therefore he was asking about connecting by other means.
I never once compared it, it's you who seem intent on comparing it. I know that WIFI is faster than bluetooth, and I'd never even think to compare the two methods on the basis of throughput.
btw I have two wifi access points, an 802.11a, as well as an 802.11b/g. Being a computer tech who regularly installs wireless equipment, I think I'm better equiped than you to understand the issues of bluetooth versus wifi connectivity.

@Max Wedge
Well if "i say i don't think that can be done" it most certainly does not mean it can't be done does it otherwise i wouldn't of put the think in the sentence.
Now with this claim you have left the realms of reality
"btw you did strongly suggest that N95 can't do internet access via computer. "
for two reasons firstly as in the previous post i had stated
"Connect your N95 with the USB cable and then just click connect to the Internet and follow the wizard to get it working."
and secondly there is a lovely icon in the Nokia PC Suite that says exactly that
"CONNECT TO THE INTERNET"
The simple reason why i don't really see why any one would want to do it is firstly Bluetooth is not particularly fast and has a very limited range before becoming unstable and if you are that near to a computer just think anyone would be better off using a computer then using a slow connection and 2"or 3" screen seems fairly logical to me.
Now if you feel i am condescending and arrogant fair enough that is your opinion and you are entitled to it, but of course i do not agree with you at all. I get a lot more abuse than i dish out and am mostly very tolerant and even when answering back don't resort to personal insults or pops If you don't like what or how i say things don't read them if you disagree debate.
But it was you that quoted my whole post that had only a one line post between what i said and your answer and then started having a go at me. Maybe if you had just answered and left me out of it i wouldn't of felt the need to react to your hostile posting or is this a case of Max can do it and it's OK?.
Marc
