@carkitter. Good idea but you would also have to disable your answering machine to stop them leaving you messages too. Yiou can create and 'Accepted calls' from list in SE phones but its tedious to set up and would also block unknown numbers.

Yes, I'm aware of the "silent ringtone" you can assign to annoying numbers, but that doesn't take care of withheld/private numbers (unless you can think of a way to make it do that).
I don't think you actually need "20 seconds of silence" because if you have 1 second of silence, it will just loop.
Not on any phone?
I am using a program (IVCM) on my N95 (think it is available for all S60 phones as well) which allows me to do this and more.
I'm sure such a phone exists, but of course I do not have unlimited time to lurk around the internet trying to find a phone that does this. And I also do not want to have to buy another phone just for this feature.
I know of the N95, though I didn't know it could do that. But either way, it's just too expensive for me.

Any s60 v3 or UIQ 3 phone can do this with 3rd party software. You just need a phone upgrade.

carkitter's method is best with the silent ringtone. if the vibration bugs you too much switch it off. if the missed calls msgs bug you then you really need help.

Try Coldcallblocker (forget the address - just google it). It's software that you run on your PC.
I use it on my home phone for blocking sales calls - last thing I want after work is to be interupted when I'm relaxing. Works too - coldcallblocker just cuts them off, but let's friends and family straight through.

We connect to the internet via a Wireless router, would be still be able to use this?
